We all think about the success stories of Tesla and SpaceX whenever we get to hear the name of Elon Musk. Being one of the world's richest and global business magnates, Mr Elon Musk is also widely popular within the ambit of the entrepreneurial domain for his sheer ideas of progressive technology and innovation. But to our surprise, Elon Musk and his journey have various unknown facts which are indeed interesting and eye-raising at the same time. So let's get to know some of the most unique and unknown facts about the global business giant Elon Musk and some of his ventures.

Created a game at 12 and sold it

We all must have been a game crazy kid back when we were 12 or 13 but creating and selling games in exchange for some lump sum cash…well, hard to think about, right? Elon Musk, being just a 12-year-old kid, created a space fighter game called 'Blaster' and sold it off to a magazine. Musk earned around $500 by selling his first created game and quite roaringly started off kicking his venture ideas right after that.

He drops out from Stanford University only to make his first startup.

A brilliant student since childhood, Elon Musk earned two bachelor's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in economics and in physics. At 17, he came to Canada with his mother and sister after finishing his early education and studied at the reputed Kingston University in Ontario prior to his journey to the University of Pennsylvania. Not many of us know that Elon Musk had also enrolled himself in Stanford University, California, for pursuing a PhD in applied physics. However, soon after just two days, Elon dropped his idea of a PhD and only started a new venture called Zip2 Corporation with his brother.

 It appeared on Bigbang Theory and The Simpsons.

Elon appeared as a cameo in the famous television programme The Simpson. In the episode “The Musk Who Fell to Earth" of the 26th season of the show, Elon is voiced as a CEO who seeks inspiration from Homer Simpson after arriving at Springfield. Not just that, being a fan of the show “Big Bang Theory”, Elon appeared in the show as a cameo as well in the 9th episode of season 9. Well, yes, that indeed sounds like versatility' at its very best, right?

At some point, I Must consider selling off Tesla to Google.

Well, It is not heard or talked about much, but yes Tesla was once decided to have a future with Google Inc. In the year 2013, Tesla's sales figures and future looked quite doubtful, and this provoked Elon Musk for proposing a Google Inc takeover of Tesla. Chance, fate and good occurrence as it may sound, the astounding sales surge of Tesla's Model S saved the company and its future from being something else than what Tesla stands at today.
