Super Effective Ways To Beat a Hangover

On some days we tend to get a little carried away while partying and the punishment we get is a scary hangover!

So, you have partied hard and now it’s time for the dreaded morning after. Hangovers might seem like the worst feeling at the time while you end up cursing yourself for letting get out of the hand the previous night. However, like most problems, even hangovers have more ways than one for an easy fix. If you are one of those who beat themselves around for having one too many drinks and can’t really deal with the morning after, here are a few tips you can beat it.

Hydrate Yourself

Hydrate, hydrate and hydrate! The best and the most important trick to beat a hangover is to constantly hydrate yourself the morning following your drinking night. Alcohol consumption dehydrates your body to a great extent and in order to counter that effect you have got to drink as much water as your stomach can hold and then some. Hydrate yourself throughout the day and that will not only help you with the hangover but also help your kidneys and liver.

Eat Foods That Are Detoxifying

The cure to hangover is all about bringing your liver back into action. You body needs to flush out the toxins and that is why you need to have food that have detoxifying properties. Now, a hangover might tempt you to reach for food that is high in carbohydrate and fat content. Do yourself a favor and avoid giving in to that temptation. Instead have food that your liver would love you for ingesting. These include veggies broccoli, brussels sprouts, carrots, lemon, avocado and grapefruit.

Sweat It Out

The goal is to flush the harmful toxins out of your body. The more you exercise, the more you sweat. Sweating gets rid of toxins and hence is a great fix for a hangover. However, you might not feel like going for high intensity workouts while you are in the buzz and that’s okay. Do low intensity exercises as long as it makes you sweat.

Take Vitamin Supplements

Alcohol drains your body of essential vitamins like vitamin A, C, K, D, and E. It also affects some of the complex B vitamins. Take multivitamin supplements to fix the vitamin deficiency in your body and you’ll be sorted.
