Keep your eyes healthy by eating these simple natural foods

As important it is to have a well-maintained body, muscles, high aptitude functioning brain and be mindful of all the body parts, it is equally important to pay attention to the functioning of eyes as well. After all, our eyes are the guide for us to see the beautiful world that exists. But with the excess use of computers and prolong sitting in front of them has caused our eyes to suffering a great deal. Salmon and eggs The retinas in our eyes require two types of omega-3 fatty acids, both of which can be found in fatty fish, such as salmon, tuna, trout and other types of seafood. Also, the zinc in an egg will help the body use the lutein and zeaxanthin from its yolk, which is helpful in blocking harmful blue light from damaging the retina. These elements in the egg help boost the amount of protective pigment in the macula, the part of the eye that controls central vision

Sweet Potatoes All the orange-colored fruits and vegetables like sweet potatoes, carrots, cantaloupe, mangos, and apricots, are high in beta-carotene, a form of vitamin A that helps the eyes with night vision, helps eyes' with the ability to adjust to the darkness. Also, sweet potato has more than half the vitamin C and a little amount of vitamin E.

Other superfoods good for healthy eyes are beans, legumes, squash, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts.
