Taapsee Pannu is known for her choice of picking up unconventional roles and films that speak about important issues. The actress has never shied away from portraying roles that normally conventional heroines may not opt. Starting her career with South films, Taapsee gained immense stardom as she moved into Bollywood and made a name there.   1. Pink – This is possibly one of Taapsee most famous films and the one which put her name under the spotlight. Pink features Amitabh Bachchan as a lawyer, and the film is a courtroom drama based on three girls fighting for justice. Pannu shows off her acting chops as a strong self-independent woman who can not only fight her own fight but also not be considered alone and weak.
  2. Game Over – Another masterpiece by Pannu, Game Over is a must-watch for all thriller movie lovers out there. The film plays with time, suspense and there are tons of gripping scenes to make you watch this film at least twice. Taapsee is so realistic you may almost believe that she is actually in trouble!
  3. Thappad – Yes, Taapsee loves doing women-centric films, yet she has never been type-casted. Thappad should be specifically watched by every woman as this film teaches a very valuable social message. She has received a lot of good word-of-mouth after this film, and it was even nominated in the Best Film category at the 14th Asian Film Awards.
  4. Badla – After Pink, this film again saw Taapsee and Amitabh Bachchan coming together with their brilliant performances. Helmed by Sujoy Ghosh, Badla is another thriller film, which should be on your top-watch list!
  5. Soorma – Although the film focuses mostly on Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee, in whatever screen time she gets, will surely win your heart in Soorma. Based on the life of the formal National Hockey Team Captain, Sandeep Singh, this film is surely one of Taapsee’s top commercially successful films.
  6. Manmarziyan – Another commercially successful film that shows Taapsee in a very different kind of role. Her charm, her way of speaking and the way she delicately handles her emotions will surely leave you awe-struck.
