While most of the crowds are in love with big motorcycles, there’s a section of individuals who are more into scooters. However, scooters offer little strength compared to motorcycles. Thus, people in love with scooters often settle with lowly tuned, less powered scooters. Though in recent years, the world has witnessed the birth of a new scooter known as the maxi scooter.

Yamaha TMAX 560

After manufacturing a string of motorcycles with huge engines, Yamaha ventured into creating maxi-scooters and the TMAX 560 is their finest offering in the scooter segment till date. The scooter is armed with a 562cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine capable of developing a maximum power of 47hp at 7,5000rpm and a peak torque of 55.7Nm at 5,250rpm. Suzuki Burgman 650

With a 638cc engine, the Burgman is a monster of the scooter's world. The engine generates a peak power of 54hp at 7,000rpm and a torque figure of 61.78Nm at 5,000rpm. The scooter is powered by a 550cc liquid-cooled, 8-valve DOHC engine that churns out 53hp of power and a torque of 55Nm. 160-section wide rear tyre, dual disc brakes on the front, a large TFT screen and a keyless start feature are some highlights of this maxi scooter.
