If you grew up watching Harry Potter movies you would love this list. There were so many beloved characters on the series of movies that spilled magic on screen and will always remain in our hearts. But there are some lesser known and less famous characters, who we may not have kept up with over time. Let's take a look back to who's where as of today!
Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch)
Luna Lovegood had a long screen presence which increased with every movie as the series progressed. But she wasn’t someone who was chosen for her acting background, as she had none. She was chosen because she sent letters to the author and there was open casting for the character of Lovegood. After the series she went on to play the lead role on an independent Irish movie in 2015 and participated in ABC's Dancing with the stars. Thereafter she kept pursuing her career in this field with a crime comedy.
Lucius Malfoy (Jason Isaacs)
Jason Isaacs was perfect in his portrayal of Lucius Malfoy. This actor did work on the silver screen before and performed well in other projects before making a big break in the Harry Potter series. After the series ended, he went on to work in the NBC series Awake and as a voice artist as a character in Scooby Doo.
Dudley Dursley (Harry Melling)
Harry Melling played the role of Harry Potter's cousin Dudley. His great performance can be owed to his family, which is filled with actors. He went on to work on the Coen brother's project which was highly acclaimed by critics.
Sybill Trelawney (Emma Thompson)
Everyone felt bad when this Divination professor was almost thrown out of Hogwarts under the tyranny of the new ministry of magic incharge at school. Emma Thompson was an established actress before the Potter series but went on with her career after the series and played a diverse set of roles. She then featured in Nanny McPhee, Men in Black 3 and more such movies.
Nymphadora Tonks (Natalia Tena)
She made her way through the Order of the Phoenix, Half Blood Prince and both parts of Deathly Hallows in the Potter series. She also played a role in the Game of Thrones thereafter. She continued her career in the field with TV shows, movies and even co-starred with Tom Felton in the Origin.
