The Most Annoying Characters On The Office

Dunder Mifflin went down under with respect to its characters quite a few times!

Michael Scott might have been the one to get on our nerves quite a few times, but there are other characters from The Office that managed to top Michael in terms of the annoying factor. The Office had brought to us realistic characters that were all flawed to some extent. However, there are also a few that the fans of the popular sitcom just love to hate.

Charles Miner

One of the more serious characters, Charles Miner, was a bit of an egoistic bore. The character was played by Idris Elba and appeared only for a few episodes on the show. Miner was hired for the position of Sales Vice President replacing Ryan. It’s understandable that the purpose of the character was to serve as a foil to the other ridiculous characters, but he didn’t deliver much on that end.

Kelly Kapoor

Kelly Kapoor, played by the brilliant Mindy Kaling, might be the favourite of some of the fans but there’s no confusion over the fact that she was downright annoying. She was always gossiping not to mention her never ending rants. That aside, she was also the one who was always a cry baby who complained and threw tantrums like some princess. Moreover, she was one big flirt who would do anything to get the guy she wants (remember when she lied about being pregnant to get Ryan’s attention?).

Andy Bernard

Andy did not start off as being one of the most intolerably annoying characters on The Office. In fact, he was viewed as funny and relatable for the most part of it. However, after Michael Scott when it became his turn to take charge for the Scranton branch, his eccentric and out of touch managerial style became too much to handle for most of the viewers. Moreover, his rich and privileged attitude did not help his case and made him all the more unlikable.

Jan Levinson

Jan Levinson started out as a strong character on the show and was even liked by many. However, soon a turn in the script had her become the love interest of Michael Scott which made her play out as a control freak, mentally unstable and  crazy girlfriend. Moreover, this same angle of the character was stretched out for far too long so much that she outstayed her welcome.
