But something that started as a means to make life easy, over the years has seen the manufacturing of some of the most expensive scooters in the world. Here are some of such scooters that might burn a hole in your pocket.

BMW C 650 GT

A BMW-produced scooter, this two-wheeler oozes elegance in all its glory. Keeping true to its brand name and quality, the scooter is equipped with plenty of features on its display. The aim behind this bike’s design is to make it comfortable for long-distance as well as urban commute driving. It boats of 60hp engine with a fast acceleration installed with a redesigned clutch system and the CVT. Vespa 946 Emporio Armani

Vehicle manufacturer Piaggio partnered with fashion guru, Giorgio Armani in order to design products commemorating the 130th anniversary of Piaggio and the 40th anniversary of Emporio Armani, at the same time celebrating their Italian heritage. The result of the collaboration was a scooty, Vespa 946, Emporio Armani which is priced at Rs 12,04,970 lakh in India. Designer Giorgio Armani created an exclusive colour scheme for this anniversary model, a matte gray finish with green highlights. The scooter got its inspiration from the original Vespa which was created in 1946. However, the scooter was manufactured in limited quantities.

Aprilia SRV 850 ABS/ATC

Aprilia SRV 850 is a power-packed scooter, equipped with advanced technology that makes the drive smooth. The body structure of the scooter is high-end with an 850cc engine. Aprilia SRV 850 costs at Rs 15,05,000 lakh in India. The scooter has a double-cradle frame, giving riders a firm sense of stability on any kind of road.
