This 2008 romantic drama film is an adaptation of the novel The Dying Animal by author Philip Roth. The plot of the film revolves around ageing American college professor David Kepesh, essayed by Sir Ben Kingsley, who takes an instant liking to Consuela, portrayed by Penélope Cruz, who is a 24-year-old literature student from Cuba. As the story proceeds, the two spend time together, and David gets to know Consuela's mysterious past. With time, the relationship intensifies, and the two get serious, but David must decide if he should pursue true love or not.

The plot of the film revolves around an eccentric family of women from a wind-swept region, Madrid. Cruz portrays the role of Raimunda, a working-class woman who is forced to go to any extent to protect her 14-year-old daughter Paula as he finds out that her father, Paco, played by Antonio de la Torre, is attempting to rape her daughter and murders him.

Spanish name Todos lo Saben, this is a 2018 Spanish-language mystery-crime-drama film and stars starring Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz in the lead role. The story of the film revolves around Laura, played by Cuz, who soon finds that her teenage daughter Irene has been kidnapped.
