These everyday mistakes are damaging your hair

Your body and hair both require a good amount of protein in the morning.

Since ancient times hair was considered to be a part of human beauty in different cultures and regions. Time changed and decades flew by, but the importance of hair to enhance beauty remained the same. However, with time human hair tended to get weaker and thinner due to the use of chemical products and in lack of natural ingredients that it used to get. Although some daily mistakes can boost hair damage, are you making these mistakes too?

Washing hair frequently:

Keeping hair clean is an important task to maintain hygiene and freshness but after the invention of shampoo people started to enjoy washing their hair even more. Shampoo and water don’t just clean the dirt from your hair and scalp but it also washes off the natural oil and moisture from our hair that our body produces to keep the hair healthy.

Using cotton pillowcase:

The cotton fabric of your pillowcase absorbs the natural hydrating oil from your hair and leaves the hair dry, split, and even damaged. Using a cotton pillowcase for too long can cause thin and dry hair. Switch to a silk pillowcase and sleep peacefully without worrying about hair damage.

Combing wet hair:

Combining or brushing wet hair may keep the hair in shape for longer but your hair is 10 times when it’s wet. Try to take the showers a bit earlier so that your hair gets some time to dry while you get ready to go outside. When in a rush use a big-size hairbrush with wider gaps and brush through your hair, avoid brushing from the roots. Combining wet hair for a long period can cause hair fall, damage, and even breakage.

Top knots:

Who doesn’t love a high ponytail or a messy top bun?! they also look simply amazing and enhance the style but ever wondered why you feel so relaxed after opening your hair from a top bun? Because your hair was pulled and tied uncomfortably. According to experts if highly tied-up hairstyles are done daily then it can later cause hair problems like alopecia and severe hair loss.

Skipping Breakfast:

Skipping breakfast in the morning can cause more problems than we think and hair loss and thinning are just two of them. Your body and hair both require a good amount of protein in the morning. Egg, spinach, nuts, berries, etc for breakfast promotes hair growth and keeps hair healthy generally. Always remember you’re what you eat.
