Things to Know About KTM's Ladakh Adventure Tour

Organized by KTM India, the ride to Ladakh Adventure Tour takes off from Chandigarh in August

In the present generation, merely manufacturing and selling magnificent vehicles are not sufficient. Every automobile company must share a tight bond with its purchasers. Recently, the Austrian brand announced the KTM Ladakh Adventure Tour for its patrons, which is scheduled to take off from Chandigarh on August 21. The tour will be for 14 days, that will end in Chandigarh in September. However, note that the Ladakh Adventure Tour is specifically organized for the KTM 250 and 390 Adventure owners.

In the Ladakh tour, riders will take off from Chandigarh and cover a distance of 2,300 kilometres through treacherous terrains such as hills, sand dunes, river crossing, slush, mud, forest and more. The initial break from Chandigarh will be in Manali. From Manali, the group will reach Jispa and then Sarchu. After Sarchu, the riders will explore Leh and the Nubra Valley. That’s not all, as the excursion will also cover places like Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri. Finally, after moving through all these places, the quest will end in Chandigarh on September 3.

Before the beginning of the expedition, a motivational speech will be delivered by Padma Shri Ajeet Bajaj and a special pre-tour training will be provided to all the riders. Not to forget, professional riders will lead the team.

For emergencies, a utility vehicle will join the expedition that will carry spare parts, extra fuel and luggage of the riders. Along with the utility vehicle, a backup vehicle will also follow with the carrying capacity of two motorcycles (in case of breakdowns) and a KTM mechanic. Not to forget, an ambulance with a doctor and medical equipment will also accompany the group. Furthermore, adventure sports insurance cover up to INR five lakh per person will be provided to every rider (in case of an accident).
