Tips For A First Date To Get A Second One

Find out what you have to do to land that second date!

It is hard to bag a second date. The best of us find themselves stringing along a series of first dates, a cursed and loopy chain that never seems to end. However, there are ways to break the curse and go grab that much desired second date if you can play the cards right on the first date. Here are a few tips for you to try doing on the first date that could guarantee you getting a second one!

Bring Meaning Into The Conversation

Avoid small talk by all means. Instead, go for meaningful conversations. Ask questions that are deep and personal. Of course, it has to start with you. Start by sharing something deep and personal about yourself with your date. See if your sharing has indeed given your date the courage to open up themselves. It might seem risky to let your guard down and share personal stuff with someone you have just met. We get it! However, taking this risk might just be something that could land you a second date with the person. Moreover, how much longer do you want to stick to the same old who and what questions? Sharing personal and deep conversation would let you both understand each other and by the end of the date you would already feel like spending more time with each other!

There Is No Rule About Who Should Text First

Please stop believing everything you have heard from your high school best friend when you were teens! Do not wait around for the other person to text or contact your first for a second date. There is no rule as such. You might as well call them right after you get home from the date! If you click, you click, right? In fact, it is a better idea to end the first date on a more concrete note like telling them that you would like to do this again. You can also ask them if they are free on the next nearest convenient date for a second date.

Get The First Date Clichés Out Of The Way

Be creative with your first date planning. This would intrigue the person’s interest in you. Don’t go for the clichéd restaurant and fancy dinners. Do something unique for your date to get to know your fun side!
