The fully-faired sports motorcycle category in the 125cc segment is a small territory. However, in the present era, the mentioned small territory is getting overcrowded with brilliant motorcycles

The 125cc segment has always been for those people who prefer more mileage and less power at an affordable price-tag. The motorcycles in the segment are used for daily commuting and therefore, most of the potential buyers do not want them in a super sporty or cruising avatar. Irrespective of that, there are several sporty fully-faired motorcycles in the segment.

The relevance of this article

While a majority of the potential buyers do not crave an aggressive sporty motorcycle for everyday rides, there is a small majority of people who prefer a bit of thrill in their daily commuting. That is the reason the 125cc in the present era has too many fully-faired sporty motorcycles. The sporty motorcycles are slightly more powerful than the normal commuters and return adequate mileagefor everyday commutes.

KTM RC 125, the big-bike-feel

The KTM RC 125 makes a peak power of 14.5hp and a maximum torque of 12Nm; way more than an average commuter. Indeed, it is expensive, but it offers the big-bike-feel of the RC 390. The mileage of the motorcycle is around 40 or 45 km/pl which is less when compared to normal commuters. However, those who are looking for a little thrill on their way to the office or college, this is the machine.

Yamaha R125, for the streets and tracks

The R125 makes 15hp of power and 11Nm of torque; a unit less than the RC 125. However, the price-tag of the R125 is significantly less than the RC 125; an important factor for the 125cc users. Not to forget, riders who are fond of weekly track rides, the R125 is the apt choice. The RC 125 is not bad either, but for track rides, our money is on the R125.

Aprilia RS 125 and Kawasaki Ninja 125

Why two motorcycles in a single paragraph? Well, we cannot choose just one out of the two models because of how good they equally are. Compared to the RC 125 and R125, the Aprilia is a much more relaxed and premium motorcycle. Last but not the least, the Kawasaki Ninja 125 is mentioned here because it is a Kawasaki; it is a Ninja and one simply needs no other reason to pick the green baby monster.
