Weaver And Spoke, The Basic Terms

The most important thing in basket weaving is to be aware of the techniques of 'weaver' and 'spoke'.  Weavers are woven with the help of spokes. They are lighter in weight and softer than spokes. It is mainly used in the weaving method inside and outside the basket. The second term is 'spoke'. They work as a support on the side of the basket so that the baskets do not break easily. They are woven straight into the side of the basket and are much stronger than weavers.

Under And Over Weaving

This is another Fast method of weaving baskets. It can be seen in almost every basket.  The weavers are wrapped around each other's backs and thus cover the whole basket.  This is the most straightforward technique in basket weaving.

Double Weaving

This weaving technique makes the tea basket more beautiful.  One of the differences between normal weaving and weaving during weaving is that on normal weaving the bottoms are intertwined with each other but in this method the adjacent weavers are not twisted anywhere.  Rather, the weavers at the top and bottom are intertwined with the weavers as well.

Triple Twisting

This weaving method is somewhat complicated but so gorgeous in appearance.  Here, three weavers are used after arranging the upper and lower spokes side by side in such a way that it looks as if three weavers have come out from one spoke in the middle and three on the right side.

Pairing Method

In this case, the upper and lower spokes are arranged side by side and the two weavers are intertwined.  Then the two weavers are twisted and arranged with the spokes in such a way that it looks as if the spokes have come out of those two weavers.
