A love triangle is the most common plot in any love story. Though it is the most predictable when it comes to the story still for some reason it has been appreciated over the ages. The story revolves around three major characters including Urmila Matondkar as a budding artist, Aamir Khan a street-toughened guy and Jackie Shroff as a big movie star. HumDil De ChukeSanam

 Another iconic film of its time Hum Dil De ChukeSanamis the tale of a girl’s tug-of-war between her immature boyfriend and her stoic husband. The movie became an epic more due to the star cast than the story itself. The film starred Salman Khan, Aishwariya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgan and was directed by Sanjay LeelaBansali.

Kal Ho Na Ho

 Among all the Shah Rukh Khan’s love triangles in a movie, Kal Ho Na Ho has the best story and execution. The story has everything to it starting from comedy to romance to heartbreak and sorrow. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, PreityZinta and Saif Ali Khan also did a good job in playing their character. More than Shah Rukh and PreityZinta’s chemistry, people appreciated the bromance of Saif and Shah RukhKhan.

Silsila

Silsila is a classic tale of an extra-marital affair that was said to be inspired by therumoured real-life love triangle between Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bhaduri and Rekha. Silsila wasn’t a commercial success back then but over the decades, the film has become a classic.

Barfi

Barfi is undoubtedly Bollywood’s sweetest and most innocent love story. Directed by Anurag Basu this heartwarming movie is a love story between a deaf-mute man ‘Barfi’ played by  Ranbir Kapoor and an autistic girl ‘Jhilmil’ and played Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz who plays the silent lover, who was in love with Barfi’s charm and innocence.
