To make driving safe, several cars in India are now equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)

India is a price-sensitive market, but car manufacturers are very concerned with the safety of the drivers and the passengers. Therefore, in recent years, manufacturers have done all in their capability to make the cars as safe as possible. However, they did not stop trying because in 2021, irrespective of the tight budget; several car manufacturers have armed a few of their models with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).

Back to ADAS in cars; if you are planning to purchase one in India, here is a list of the best ADAS equipped cars in the country. 

Mahindra XUV 500- The Mahindra XUV 500 is considered one of the best SUVs in the Indian market by an Indian manufacturer. The price of the car begins at INR 12.49 lakh and it is available with one petrol and two diesel engine options. The petrol mil is tuned to produce a peak power of 197hp and torque of 380Nm, whereas the diesel engines make 182hp and 153hp of power. Apart from ADAS, the car boasts of a power tailgate, electric sunroof, dual climate control zone and more. 

Hyundai Alcazar- The price of the Hyundai Alcazar begins at INR 16 lakh and goes up to INR 20 lakh because the car is available in a 1,493cc and a 1,999cc variant coupled with different fuel and transmission trims. When it comes to safety features, the Hyundai Alcazar is not just equipped with ADAS but several other modern-day safety features such as electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, crash sensors, engine immobiliser, traction control, speed alert and more. Apart from safety features, it boasts of a premium cabin that comprises a 10.25-inch infotainment system, voice-controlled panoramic sunroof and a camera with 360-degree coverage. 

MG Gloster- In this article, the Gloster from MG is the most expensive but also the largest vehicle compared to the other two. The Gloster begins at INR 29.98 lakh and goes up to INR 37.68 for the top of the trim variant. The car is purchasable in a 2WD 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel trim and a 4WD trim that generates 215hp of power and 480Nm of torque. The premium SUV is armed with ADAS and several unique features such as cooled seats, massaging seats, powered seats, PM2.5 filter and more.
