148 not out Belinda Clark In the 4th ODI of the England women tour of Australia in 2000, Australia batted first and smashed 299 runs courtesy of a brilliant unbeaten ton from captain Belinda Clark.

Clark opened the batting for Australia and made 148 runs off just 150 deliveries with 6 boundaries at a strike rate of 96.68, registering the then highest score against England in ODIs.

Clark's opening partner Joanne Broadbent also made 85 as Australia cruised to 299. England in reply were bowled out for just 79 under scoreboard pressure with 5 wickets from Charmaine Mason as Australia won the match by a handsome margin of 220 runs.

130 Rachael Haynes Australian opener Rachael Haynes was not in the best of form leading up to the third match of 2022 women's ODI World Cup against England. However, captain Meg Lanning had shown her faith in Haynes before the match, and the batter didn't disappoint.

"She's a very important part of our squad on and off the field," Lanning said in her pre-match press conference. "For me personally, she's been incredible and really does make my job a lot easier. She comes in in good form. She's an important part of the team. She's going to play an important role for us if we are to win this World Cup and I can't really see her stopping anytime soon, to be honest. She's fit, she's strong, she's playing well, and she's playing important role for the team. We'll see what happens after this World Cup but I could see her playing for a long time down the track."

Haynes struck a splendid 130 and received the player of the match award for her efforts.

"I don't think I was feeling that great (physically) in the second half of the game on the field. I think it was a great effort from England. We can all learn from their approach. Once I got a couple away, things started to flow and it felt nice to get a 300-plus score. Initially, we were thinking 260-270 but once we got going, we thought to go as big as we can. Getting over 300 was important. Conditions got better as the game went on, was sliding on nicely to the bat," Haynes signed off.
