Top Most Iconic Motorcycle Chases in Hollywood Movies

The movies on the list may not be a great watch for everyone, but the chase scenes are undoubtedly the most iconic ones in Hollywood history.

When it comes to chases, car scenes are usually considered the best since they can be used to show-off different moves such as a drift, 360 burnout and reverse driving on a busy street. However, there’s something else about motorcycles. They are faster, nimble and puts the actor or stunt rider in more danger than a car does. Thus, we have compiled a list of top iconic motorcycle chases in Hollywood history ever.

  1. Jurassic World
2015 took the world back to the Jurassic Park where we witnessed a new hero in the form of Chris Pratt. Tying his name anywhere is a big risk considering the amount of hatred his character received in the Avengers: Infinity War (pun intended). However, the actor displayed an iconic chase scene in the Jurassic World. Chris Pratt was found to be chasing a flock of Velociraptor during night through the dense forest on a Triumph Scrambler. A thrilling one, wasn’t it?
  1. Top Gun
In this 1986 film starring Tom Cruise, we witnessed a beautiful Kawasaki GPZ 900R that was considered a heartthrob in that era. The movie didn’t exactly feature a chase, but Tom Cruise was shown riding the motorcycle fast with an F-14A Tomcat fighter jet taking off in the background. Shot during sunset, the scene is a mesmerizing one till date.
  1. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
Another one from Tom Cruise, the 2015 film saw the megastar chasing actress Rebecca Ferguson on a BMW S1000RR through the twist, turns and chicanes of the Atlas Mountain. The cinematography kept us on the edge as we got to see the actor going way too fast and ending up in a crash. Most of us hated Tom Cruise going down, but that decision from the action director made the scene iconic.
  1. Terminator 2: Judgement Day
It would be a sin to not add this particular chase scene in the list and keep Arnold Schwarzenegger away. In the 1991 sci-fi movie, Arnold- a robot from future rides a Harley Davidson Fat Boy to save young John Connor from another futuristic robot- the T-1000. Those who have watched the movie surely remember that high jump in an aqueduct and the semi-truck slightly touching the Harley from the rear.
