Top Motorcycles With Automatic Transmission

In our opinion, there is nothing better than a manual transmission, but for many, automatic transmission is the real deal because of its hassle-free nature

For us and most of the moto-enthusiasts, a manual transmission is drool-worthy because we love to change gears and feel the engine work. You know, matching the revs and gearing up or down as per our requirement. However, to many riders, an automatic transmission is the real deal because of its hassle-free nature. For those riders, here is a list of the best automatic transmission motorcycles available in the present era.

Aprilia Mana 850- Let us inform you at the very beginning that the Aprilia Mana 850 is no more in production. However, it was a great motorcycle and therefore; we have added it to our list. Also, one can always go for a second-hand or third-hand model. The Mana was powered by an 839cc, liquid-cooled engine that was tuned to produce a peak power of 74.9hp and 73Nm. The motorcycle was launched in 2007 and its production came to an end in 2019. Back in the day, it was one of the few motorcycles with an automatic transmission setting because of which; it gained a special stature.

Honda NT1100- The most recent motorcycle of the lot, the Honda NT1100 is a sports tourer that was launched in the month of October 2021. The motorcycle is based on the Honda African Twin adventure tourer motorcycle and therefore; it is fuelled by the same 1,048cc, parallel-twin engine. On the NT1100, the engine is tuned to produce a peak power of 100hp and a maximum torque of 104Nm. The motorcycle is available in two trims; one with a six-speed manual transmission and the second one with a dual-clutch transmission (automatic). The motorcycle is presently up for sale in the UK market at 11,999 pound sterling.

Honda Rebel 1100- Another motorcycle from Honda, the Rebel 1100 is a proper cruiser that draws power from 1,048cc, SOHC, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, eight-valve, parallel-twin engine that is designed to generate 85.8hp of power and 98Nm of torque. Similar to the NT1100, the motorcycle is available in two trims; six-speed manual transmission and dual-clutch transmission. The motorcycle is available in several markets but sadly; it is not purchasable in India.

Some other motorcycles to look at are the Honda African Twin, Honda Gold Wing Tour and the Harley-Davidson LiveWire One.
