It’s good to see that the top two most powerful superheroes in MCU are women. Captain Marvel with her unlimited power is next only to Scarlet Witch when it comes to the most powerful superheroes in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Captain Marvel, got her tremendous cosmic powers from the Space Stone itself which makes her the second most powerful superhero in MCU. With her infinite power abilities, she can be called as the female counterpart of Superman, who is the most powerful comics superhero ever. In Endgame, she turned the tide towards the Avengers after her entry and she destroyed the entire backup spaceship of Thanos allowing the Avengers to stand up again and win the battle.
Thor
Thor literally is a God and there is no doubt that he is the strongest superhero in MCU. Don’t confuse being strong with being powerful as both are two entirely different things.
Thor is the God of Thunder who can summon the power of thunderbolts to attack his enemies. In Infinity War, he singlehandedly absorbed the power of two supernovas while making Stormbreaker. With Mjolnir with him, he is almost undefeatable. He can lift the Mjolnir, his hammer, the capacity only a few have in the entire universe. Along with having supernatural powers, he is physically also the strongest as he defeated Hulk in the movie Thor: Ragnarok in a duel.
Doctor Strange
Doctor Strange is the sorcerer supreme who has the responsibility of saving the planet earth from threats the people of earth cannot fathom.
Doctor Strange is a sorcerer who carries the time stone, the main source of his powers through which he can even play with the time that we have seen in movies like Doctor Strange and Spider-Man: No Way Home. He can see the future which was evident in the movie Avengers:Infinity War where he foresaw millions of futures with endless possibilities. He is so powerful that he can make the beings of the entire world forget things like he did in Spider-Man: No Way Home
