TorkKratos Electric Motorcycle Launch Imminent

Earlier codenamed T6X, new electric motorcycle Kratos from the stable of Tork Motorcycles is gearing up to hit the Indian streets

Pune-based electric motorcycle manufacturer Tork Motorcycles is gearing up to launch its first-ever electric motorcycle by the name of Kratos. Earlier, the motorcycle was codenamed T6X. The motorcycle has been a work in progress for a long time, but 2022 could finally be the year to see the motorcycle in flesh. When launched, the Kratos will probably take on the electric motorcycles from Revolt.

Why is the importance of this article?

At present, the Indian automobile industry has several electric scooters for scooter riders. However, for motorcycle enthusiasts, there is only one good motorcycle on offer and that is the Revolt RV400. There are some more motorcycles from lesser-known brands, but in our opinion, those products are not promising enough. Therefore, details about the Kratos are important because Tork Motorcycles has the potential to change the present electric motorcycle scenario of the nation.

The launch date of the much-awaited Kratos/T6X

As of now, Tork Motorcycles has not revealed the official launch date of the Kratos. The company took to its official Twitter account and posted: India’s First Electric Motorcycle to be launched soon. STAY TUNED!!! Going by the post, we believe the launch is imminent and the Kratos is likely to be launched in January or February 2022.

The spec-sheet of the upcoming Kratos

Similar to the launch date, no details regarding the spec-sheet have been revealed byTork Motorcycles. However, in the recent past, the company claimed that the upcoming Kratos is going to differ greatly from the T6X. Note that several iterations and test mules of the T6X have been spotted testing in different parts of the country.

What to expect from the Kratos?

A few things are confirmed about the upcoming Kratos. First, the motorcycle will feature the Tork LIION battery pack; an in-house battery pack. Second, the motorcycle will be equipped with an arial flux engine that is prone to generate more power with better mileage. Not to forget, in 2016, Tork Motorcycles claimed the T6X can hit a top speed of 100 kilometres per hour. We believe the Kratos will do the same.

Last but not the least, one can book the motorcycle online by visiting the official website of the company. Given the motorcycle has been in a developmental phase for the past six years, we expect the Kratos to set a new standard in the electric motorcycle segment.
