Useful Tips To Make Your Makeup Look Sober And Long Lasting

How to get a long lasting makeover? Read on to know more.

We all want to make our makeup long lasting and sober. It's easy, but we just need to know how we should do it properly. Here are some tips to help you to make your makeup look sober and long lasting.

Start with Skincare

Are you too lazy to skincare? But it is an essential part if you want your makeup to be on point. Make sure your skin is hydrated enough to consume the product.

Shaving

Now shaving is the ultimate trick for a full coverage makeup look. Tiny hairs on your face can make your makeup uneven and extremely cakey. If you are not a fan of bold makeup, I'll recommend you to shave your face first. You will literally feel the difference.

Foundation and Concealer

Luckily, in today’s era of makeup, longwear doesn’t necessarily mean heavy makeup. But foundation and concealer are the basics. Finding a long-wearing foundation and concealer in your desired coverage, is key to ensuring your makeup lasts all day. Apply it in a tiny dot on your face and blend it with a brush. Do not apply more products otherwise it will make your makeup cakey.

Setting Powder

Topping off face makeup with loose powder may sound dumb, but you need to make sure you do it properly. Grab a loose powder and a puff and blend it all over the face. Make sure you go gente with it while pressing and rolling and dust off any excess with a large fluffy brush. This will ensure your makeup will not move.

Proper Eyeliner

Eyeliner is one of the most crucial things while applying makeup. For eyeliner on the waterline, use a long-wear pencil and set with shadow in the same color. Then apply some waterproof mascara, and your eye makeup is sure to be smudge-free.

Powder Blush

Applying long-wearing cream products with vibrant colors of powders can make your face oily. To avoid that, shift on a powder blush and apply it in a very little amount on your cheeks to create a fresh look.

Lips

For lips, long lasting shades are essential. To avoid smudging, you need to apply matte finish lipstick instead of sticks.  Line your lips using a lip liner before then use the liquid lipstick. That will give your lip a full coverage.

Setting Spray

Makeup setting sprays are useful for many reasons. Picking one with a very fine mist will help with application.  Make sure to let it completely dry before touching your face.
