Could be extremely hot

One thing you need to keep in mind before travelling is to make sure you plan a trip during Oman’s non-hot months. The best time to visit this country is from October till almost April when the temperatures rarely rise above 30 degrees. So unless you want to feel the excruciating heat, beware and plan well!

Be respectful of the Omani culture

Every country has their own set of cultural rules and regulations that should be followed by visitors in order to show respect. Similarly, Oman too has its own culture which should not be laughed at or made fun of. While as a tourist you will not be forced to wear their traditional outfits but it is recommended to not be in exposed clothing.

Learn the basic regional language pleasantries

Although throughout Oman English is widely spoken, we would suggest you learn a few pleasantry exchanging words just for your own benefit! The locals in Oman are extremely friendly and courteous, so don’t be scared if you get the pronunciation wrong!

List out all the places you want to visit

It is essential that you plan out your journey well and make a full-proof itinerary. Be sure to include all the popular tourist spots and specially don’t forget to add Muscat to that!
