Ways and styles of using aloe vera for hair and face

A natural cooling agent, it is good for both hair and skin

The easiest natural product that has given the most positive results to the human body and skin is aloe vera. This easy-to-grow plant with even more easy extraction of the pulp has made aloe vera the most common thing. While some drink the extract, some make a paste out of it and apply it to the face or the skin. But then there also exist different ways of using the aloe vera for face and skin. The cooling agent in the aloe vera helps clam the skin on the body and the scalp. Here are some tips for using it for multi-purposes.

Aloe vera and coconut oil for healthy beautiful hair

You need two tablespoons of aloe vera – freshly cut from the plant is preferred – and one tablespoon of coconut oil. If you wish to change the oil depending upon the texture of your hair, you can do that.

Either in a blender or in a bowl, pour the oil and aloe vera together. Mix the two ingredients or blend until they are combined well forming a smooth paste.

Now gently apply this mask to your hair using your fingers. Go layer by layer on your scalp and apply the paste throughout the scalp across sections. After the application on the scalp is complete then proceed to the applying it to the length of the hair. To help spread the mask evenly, use a wide-tooth comb and comb through your hair.

Once done, cover your hair in order to avoid any dripping of the mask, but most importantly protects the mask from drying and letting the mask give its moisturizing effect. Keep the mask for one hour or 30 minutes minimum.

After an hour, rinse your hair with your regular shampoo. It might take a little longer than usual due to the sticky aloe vera content and of course the oil.

You can avoid the use of conditioner after this mask as it naturally conditions your hair.

Aloe vera for glowing acne-free skin

For people with dry skin, aloe vera is a natural moisturizer. In a bowl add aloe vera extract, turmeric, honey, milk, and a few drops of rose water. Blend the ingredients until it makes them into a paste. Apply this paste on the face, hands neck, and back. Leave the paste for about 20 minutes and then wash it.

For people fighting acne, in a bowl add some aloe vera extract, crushed powdered walnuts, and honey. Apply the mask and keep it for 20-30minutes, then wash it.
