Mass communication and journalism is a very interesting and intriguing subject. There are so many institutes in India where one can get into a postgraduate level course on Mass Communication easily, though there are only a few colleges offering Journalism and mass communication at undergraduate level. This is the subject where the students get a chance to learn about verbal and nonverbal communication, technical communication, business communication etc and the elements of communication. Besides, they learn about News reading, journalism, news writing, film making, photography, videography, social science and so many other things.

Criteria for getting job

There are opportunities for students after passing out their Bachelor's degree in journalism, but the scope is very limited. In most of the cases they get to work as interns or trainees.
