What is a capsule wardrobe?

A capsule wardrobe is a small collection of clothes that are interchangeable and complement each other. It focuses more on vintage and classic pieces that won’t go out of style and consists generally of neutral colours. With these small selections of outfits, you could create different looks and also experiment a bit. Interestingly, even though it seems like the concept of a capsule wardrobe is fairly new but it is been in the fashion industry for a long time. In the 70s, a boutique in London owned by Susie Faux named “Wardrobe” was famous for curating high-quality, versatile clothing that could be mixed and matched cleverly. In 1985, an American designer Donna Karen created a line named Seven easy pieces. The idea was to create as many looks as you can with seven interchangeable pieces.
