Explore Downtown – Exploring Mackinac Island is probably one of the most important things one should do. You will have to both take a cycle or a horse carriage and roam around. You can see some historic buildings here like the McGulpin House, the Biddle House, Dr. Beaumont Museum, and other buildings from the 1700 and 1800 era.

Built in 1838, has local Mackinac-related art, Native American art and also many historical photos and art on display.
