Sending chat to a number without adding to list

Start with creating a Whatsapp link for the number that will allow you to start chat.

To create the link, open Chrome or Firefox or Safari browser and navigate to web address http://waa.me/phonenumber.  Replace last part with name, country and region code without adding + or () or 00

Put the web page link on your phone browser and a web page will appear with a Message icon. Tap on it to open a conversation.

Starting a WhatsApp conversation from keypad of phone

Another simple way to send a message to an unknown number is to type the number on phone keypad with country code and a ‘+’ sign before it. Now try to select the number on the keypad. A number of options will be shown as to what you want to do with the new number. The immediate options are Call, cut, Copy paste but on scrolling further you will get a bunch of third-party text messaging options like using the number to text on WhatsApp. Tap on that option and start a conversation. This option, however, works on selected handsets.

WhatsApp now supports multi-device functionality and increasing more participants to Group calling. The use of the platform has grown by leaps and bounds in the remote working world. Hence several measures are being undertaken to improve user experience to cater to growing demand and changing the social fabric of staying connected.
