Living without social security is worse than death!

Thousand years of evolution has created the most advanced creature in the world, Human. This advancement is not just about biological structure and functioning. The two fundamental differences between human beings and all other animals are, humans are interdependent, not just materially but also mentally. And humans can produce new things by using natural resources. These significant differences made people bound to create a society.

From the ancestral period, since the very beginning of human evolution, they started living together, depending upon each other, generating collective thoughts. Being emotional, a person needs other people to share their emotions. Moreover, as one person can't produce everything he needs to live a normal life, humans are dependent upon each other for their sustenance. Hence, this concept of collectivity has been inherent in human nature. And this collective living led humans towards building new civilisations, and living like social animals. But, after 6000 years of civilization, we have reached a stage where we live in nations, under elected governments who collect taxes from the people and promise to ensure the basic needs.

The essential support necessary to live in a society can be termed Social security. In the present society, living has been costly, society has been corrupted and filthy with crimes, and most of the resources have been captured by the capitalists. So, if one wants to live, they must be served their basic needs, basic rights and securities. These things altogether can be considered as social security.

The elements of social security have gone through so many changes since the primitive stages of social life. To be socially secure in present society, firstly people need jobs with a legitimate pay scale. Secondly, they need consumable items available in the market within an affordable price range. Thirdly, they need efficient healthcare service, education, transports and pro-people administration. Lastly, they need security personnels and an honest judiciary system. These are the prime elements of social security.

Why Social Security is essential

In present society, all of us are individually capable of doing some specific work. One person can't generate a job, create money, do farming, hunt, cook, produce all necessary consumable items, provide healthcare, governance and security altogether by oneself. The elected governments should provide social security to ensure a healthy and prosperous life.
