When I was younger, I heard that the '30s were a time when your youth died and you had to put yourself last and worry about everyone else. That's no longer the case, thank goodness. Women nowadays are comfortable in their own skin and have no qualms about putting their own needs first. This self-assurance is reflected in their eyes and their overall demeanor, making them appear much younger than they actually are. Earlier Women in their thirties were constantly reminded that their beauty peaked in their twenties. That was the pinnacle of all the good times we'd had. It's hard to imagine such a thing, given how few clothing alternatives there were 40 years ago.

For the most part, society no longer places artificial constraints on a woman's desire to have children. Almost no women ever entertained the idea of getting a job outside the house. Women just had fewer opportunities to pursue in those days. Women in today's society can achieve greater heights than ever before by the time they are 30. Their attractiveness is amplified by their exaggerated feeling of self-importance.
