Similarly, in Omkara, which was adapted from Othello, Vishal based the whole plot of the movie in Uttar Pradesh and weaved a thrilling story around the political situation that exists. Who would have thought of recreating the characters and story of Shakespeare’s popular play Hamlet in Kashmir? Haider, a crime drama produced and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj deeply dived into the scenario of Kashmir and came out winning all the hearts.
