Women's cricket: T20I's top run-scorers

New Zealand's Suzie Bates is the highest run-scorer in women's T20Is and only one of two batters to have scored in excess of 3000 runs. Suzie Bates Suzie Bates made her T20 International debut in 2007. Since then, she has been right at the top of her game and has been a brilliant servant for New Zealand cricket. The batter has scored 3301 runs from 122 T20s at an average of exactly 30 and a strike rate of 110.62.

She is one of the few women cricketers to have struck a century in the shortest format of international cricket, which she achieved by scoring 124 not out. Bates has struck 361 boundaries and 29 sixes in her T20I career and has also made 21 half centuries.

Stefanie Taylor A legend of the game, West Indies' Stefanie Taylor played first T20 International in 2008 and has gone on to make 3121 runs from 111 matches at an average of 35.87 and a strike rate of over 100. She has struck 21 half centuries, with the best of 90.

Taylor has 21 half centuries and 6 ducks to her name. She has struck close to 300 boundaries in her T20I career.

Meg Lanning Many believe that Australia's Meg Lanning who currently sits at 2914 runs from 110 T20 matches would go on to become the highest run scorer in women's cricket not only in this format of the game but across formats.

She made her T20 debut in 2010 and has scored almost 3000 runs at an average of 35.97 and a strike rate of 115.63. Lanning has two T20I centuries to her name, the best of which came in the form of 133 not out.

She has also struck 13 half centuries and has remained unbeaten on 23 occasions. Lanning has hit 345 boundaries and 39 sixes.

DendraDottin Another West Indian legend, DendraDottin has not been able to come up with the performances of late but there is little doubt in her legendary status. She has made 2627 runs from 121 T20 Internationals at an average of 26.27 and an impressive strike rate of 123.68.

She has struck two centuries with the best of 112 not out to go along with 12 half centuries and has been dismissed on a duck on 11 occasions.

Charlotte Edwards Former England captain Charlotte Edwards, who bid adieu to the game in 2016, made 2605 runs from 95 T20I matches at an average of 32.97 and a strike rate of 106.93.
