Yezdi Off-Roader Spotted: Close to the Himalayan

Should the Himalayan be intimidated because once again, the much-awaited Yezdi off-roader has been caught testing on the highways and oh boy, it looks wonderful and packs serious hardware!

A few years ago, Classic Legends brought back Jawa to India and now, the company is pursuing to resurrect Yezdi and BSA in the country again. Not much is known about how or when BSA is going to introduce a product in the nation, but when it comes to Yezdi, we have answers. Recently, an off-roading motorcycle from Yezdi was caught testing on the streets. The motorcycle was covered in camouflaged skin, but the leaked video gave away several details.

The motorcycle is being developed to bring down the Royal Enfield Himalayan. For starters, we admire how the motorcycle looks in the video and, to be honest; it expresses stronger than the Himalayan. Yes, we know; taste is subjective. Since it is an off-roading ADV motorcycle, there is a large windscreen that looks bigger than the one encountered on the Himalayan. The motorcycle was also caught flaunting a tail rack and saddle stays. Therefore, we expect Yezdi to offer touring accessories once the motorcycle reaches the showrooms.

The overall ergonomics look comfortable, and the rider and pillion seats are spacious enough for extensive tours. The handlebar is tall and wide and therefore, a rider should not feel much pain in the wrists and shoulders. In the video, the fuel tank looked pretty massive. It is hard to confirm, but we believe it is a 15-litre fuel tank. On both ends, we saw the motorcycle with disc brakes and spoked wheels. Since we are in 2021, we believe the final version will feature dual-channel ABS. Not to forget, a large TFT screen was noticed in the video.

At the moment, these are the mere details we have about the upcoming Yezdi off-roader and the corporation has shared no official word. However, the company has set up new social media platforms and recently on their official yezdiforever Twitter page, the company tweeted: Look who’s back along with an animated video that hints at an imminent launch.

Before ending, let us inform you that apart from the ADV, a scrambler motorcycle from Yezdi was spotted in a bubble-wrapped cover a few days ago. We believe it is the first motorcycle that Yezdi will launch in India by the end of November 2021.
