You can grow these plants at home without buying seeds

If you are a gardener, you must understand the pleasure of growing fresh food by yourself.

Who doesn't love getting fresh fruits and veggies? We all do but in today's market, it's hard to find fruits and vegetables that are as fresh as they used to be two hundred years ago when chemical fertilizers were not used in everyday farming. But you can't grow a plant without buying it or without buying seeds whether you are a gardener or not but you can grow these plants from the vegetables in your fridge.

Tomato

Yes, no need to buy tomato seeds, the tomatoes in your fridge would be enough. To grow a tomato plant, take a whole tomato from your fridge, and try to select the one that has ripened a bit or become orange. Wait for it to get to room temperature. Cut thin slices of tomatoes from its top to bottom. Take a wide rectangular pot and bury the slices about 5 centimeters deep in the soil or you can directly do that in your garden. Water, when you see the soil has dried out. Tomato seeds usually germinate within 10 days.

Onion

To do this, select a few adult onions from your kitchen. Cut a slice from the onion's bottom which piece usually gets thrown away when we cut onions for the purpose of cooking. Make sure the slice is at least 2 centimeters thick. Set the slice in a smaller glass or bottle of water with the opposite side of the slice above from water. within seven days you would notice that roots are coming out from the bottom part which was set in water. After the roots come out you can set the slice in a gardening pot again with the opposite side above from soil. This experiment usually goes successful so you can try it with several slices

Bok Choy

Among vegetarians, bok choy is a craved leafy green and it would be fun to grow your own bok choy. To follow this, first, take several bok choys, separate every leaf, and make cuts between the leaves and the stalks. Gather it all together tightly and put the stalks in a jar full of water and the opposite side of it ( the leafy side) would be above the water (in the air). Within 2-4 days the stalks will be turning yellowish. Notice its growth when you see bumps on it from where roots sprout, plant them in the soil with the leafy parts above from the soil surface.
