4 Best Beaches In Mexico

Here are some of the most gorgeous beaches to relax yourself in Mexico.

Beautiful beaches catering to party-goers and those looking to relax can be found around Mexico. Here are some of the most preferred beaches among tourists to choose from. Read on!

Isla Holbox

Isla Holbox, located in the Gulf of Mexico off the part of the e of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, is known for its tranquil beaches and relaxed atmosphere. To the south, in Cancun & Playa del Carmen, you'll find more of a party atmosphere, but on the island, you'll find a more tranquil vibe. Playa Punta Cocos is a beautiful beach on the island's west side close to downtown Holbox, where visitors can enjoy spectacular sunsets and excellent bird-watching and fishing. The more remote Punta Mosquito has a sandbar & shallow water, perfect for leisurely strolls and swimming. Keep your eyes peeled for the many flamingos that make Isla Holbox their home.

Isla Mujeres

Located northeast of Cancun, Isla Mujeres is an excellent destination for a day trip, weekend escape, or extended holiday. White sand, waving palm trees, and crystal clear water define the stunning beaches around this island. The calmest seas, beach bars, and chair & umbrella rentals may all be found at Playa Norte, de island's least famous beach. Playa Tiburón, where snorkelers may swim with nurse sharks, & Garrafon Natural Reef Park, with its vibrant coral reefs, are two more picturesque beaches. Flights

Cozumel

This island off the coast of Mexico has some of the best beaches in the world and is a popular spot for scuba divers and snorkelers. Family-friendly Paradise Beach, located on that island's west coast, is a favorite destination for sunbathers and watersports enthusiasts. Playa El Cielo is a fantastic destination for vacationers looking to swim in blue seas, take a boat excursion, or snorkel in pristine reefs. Playa Palancar, on the other hand, is ideal for physically active and interested in kayaking or sailing. Cozumel's beaches are beautiful, but there is a significant drawback: the sheer number of people that visit there every day. Every year, thousands upon thousands of visitors flock to the island, making it nearly impossible to find any privacy.

Cancun

Some of Mexico's vacationers go to Cancun for the city's famed beaches, which have soft, white sand and azure sea. While many guests will likely stay at the beach just outside their hotel, those that venture out from the resort could find some exciting alternatives. For example, Playa Delfines is less busy and has beautiful scenery, whereas Playa Tortugas is popular because of its laid-back atmosphere, gentle surf (ideal for snorkeling), and pristine sand. Also, as Cancun is a popular tourist destination, there are several lodging options within walking distance of the beach if it's time to cool off.
