The Bahrain International Circuit 

The Bahrain International Circuit is located in the center of the Sakhir desert, it is a unique and contemporary sports and entertainment venue, especially for formula 1 racing.

If you are visiting Bahrain then make sure to visit the famous Bahrain International Circuit. It was formed in 2004 and since then it hosted various events such as drag racing, GP2 Series (now FIA Formula 2), and the annual Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix. The total area of Bahrain International Circuit is spread to 5.412 km. It is one of the main attractions for Formula 1 fans, and if you want to witness the Bahrain Grand Prix, then the best time to visit is in the months of March and April when this event takes place. At other times of the year, you can get a guided tour of the track and the famous Sakhir Tower.

Go Diving for Pearls 

There are a few places in Bahrain where you can actually go diving searching for oysters and whatever you find you can keep them. 

One of the most interesting and unique things to do in Bahrain is to go diving in search of pearls. Before the discovery of oil and gas, the main source of income for Bahrain was to export pearls. Divers used to dive deep into the sea and find oysters with pearls. Nowadays most of the pearls are created artificially on farms but in Bahrain, there are few places where you can pay some nominal fee and dive into the sea and search for oysters. If you are lucky, then you may lend your hands to an oyster with a pearl inside it. The interesting thing about this activity is that you can keep whatever you find.
