Apple cinnamon french toast

2 medium apples - peeled and sliced

¾ cup of brown sugar

4 tbsps butter

½ tsp vanilla essence

1 tsp cinnamon powder

4-5 white bread slices

½ cup milk

Pinch of salt

1 tbsps powdered sugar

Method

Combine milk, flour, cinnamon and sugar. Whisk it well. Add vanilla essence and mix again. Heat pan to melt the butter. Dip the bread in the batter and toast it on the melted butter. Put the apple slices on the same pan and let them caramelize. Layer the toasts on the plate, top it with caramelized apple and maple syrup. Dust some powdered sugar.

Peanut butter french toast

Ingredients

 8 slices white bread

½ cup creamy peanut butter

¼ cup milk

2 tablespoons sugar

1½ teaspoons vanilla extract

½ teaspoon cinnamon

Dash of salt

2 tablespoons butter

Maple syrup, for serving

Chopped strawberries or berries of your choice for topping

Method

Spread peanut butter on bread slices. Top it with another slice of bread to make a sandwich out of it. Combine milk, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon to make a batter. Toast it on a pan with melted butter and remove when it turns golden brown. Top with strawberries, maple syrup and dusted sugar.
