Pav Bhaji: You can spot the famous Pav Bhaji stall just on your right-hand side while entering the lane. The dish involves soft bread roll served with some spicy vegetable curry and sliced onions. Ask the vendor to add some butter and lemon juice as these make the dish more flavorful.

Khichuri: The "Khichuri" stall is just on the left side of the entrance of Dacres Lane. Here, you may find a middle-aged man serving hot Khichuri with crispy vegetable fries such as 'Beguni'.

Pulao - Chicken Kasha: Pulao - Chicken Kasha is a perfect combo that fills both your appetite and soul. Here, they serve a good quantity of fresh Basmati Pulao and perfectly cooked Chicken Kasha along with salad. You can also take Bharta instead of Kasha.

Chowmin - Chilly Chicken: Chowmin - Chilly Chicken is another combo not to be missed while in Dacres Lane. It involves freshly cooked Hakka Chowmin and Chilly Chicken along with some sliced onions. Make sure not to ruin the dish by adding sauce.

Toast - Chicken Stew: The 'Chitto Babur Dokan' at Dacres Lane serves the best Chicken Stew in entire Kolkata. This almost century old stall sells a brilliant combination of toast and chicken stew that will literally leave you awestruck. The dish is light, delicious and quite filling.

Rabri: When it comes to desserts, nothing can ever beat the awesomeness that Rabri offers! The Rabri stall is easily noticeable as it's located just beside the 'Chitto Babur Dokan'. It also offers Gajar ka Halwa which is definitely worth a try.

Lassi: While Lassi is available inside the Dacres Lane, you should try it at the outside stall that's located down the street towards K C Das Sweet Shop. This stall serves a variety of Lassis filled with dry fruits, cherries and more. The Mango Lassi is highly recommended at this place.
