Diabetes patients always have to keep their blood sugar levels under control. It is better for them to eat low carbohydrate foods. However, there are many delicious Indian recipes that are also beneficial for their health. Let's discuss some such recipes.

Delicious Oats Made in Indian Style : Oats are very beneficial for everyone's body and Diabetes patients too. It can be eaten for breakfast or dinner. You can use vegetables like carrot, beans, potato, onion, capsicum etc. while making it. First mix ghee, chilli, garlic and other spices and cook for a while. Then mix the oats with other vegetables and leave it in the pressure cooker with a little water for a while.  It also takes very little time to prepare.

Dhokla Khaman : Gujarati people love a kind of delicious dhokla called ra "Khaman". It is made from besan and sooji. Ingredients like turmeric powder, curry leaves, mustard, salt, mustard oil etc. are also used in cooking. At first besan, sooji, and other ingredients are mixed at different times and cooked for a while.Then it is put in a pressure cooker for fifteen minutes. "Khaman" has a tradition to eat with tamarind chutney or mint chutney.

Gourd Curry : "Bottle Gourd" is a very common vegetable in India. In a very short time, a delicious curry can be made with it which can be very healthy for diabetes patients. At first bottle gourd should be cut into small pieces. Then ginger, garlic, oil, chilli, cumin, chilli powder, turmeric powder, tomato, onion etc. cook in a pan and add the chopped pieces of bottle gourd. Then cook for a while with some water.  Many people use small prawns to make this recipe more palatable.

Upma of Quinoa : "Quinoa" is a "South American" grain but it is also found in India. "Quinoa Upma" takes very little time to make with different vegetables.  First you have to cook for a while after mixing oil, ginger, garlic,turmeric powder,cumin powder in a pan.Then add beans, carrots, etc. vegetables, lemon juice and "Quinoa". "Quinoa Upma" will be ready if you cook in a pressure cooker with all this item for 15 minutes. It can be eaten with curd.

Dal Makhani : It is made from lentils and kidney beans. Also tomato,onion, jeera, ginger, garlic, butter are required. First, fry onion, jeera, ginger and garlic in butter. Then add lentils and kidney beans after being soaked in water for several hours.Then cook for a while with a little water, tomatoes and coriander leaves. It is also delicious and a very healthy recipe for diabetes patients.
