Herbal Pasta can be both delicious and healthy

By using simple home ingredients and adding simple herbs, they are delicious

The whole idea of digging into a plate of pasta is enticing in itself. While the taste buds are sure to be appealed there sure needs to be a change in taste. There can be no comparison to the making of paste the traditional way adding olive oil, tomatoes, some salt, and pepper. These with the growing need for consuming vegan and organic herbal laden food; the choice of pasta making has gradually taken a favorable route. Let’s take a look at a few of the herbal pasta recipes.

Lemon Spaghetti with just a handful of ingredients at hand and an about total of 30 minutes, you have a good dosage of Vitamin C in your body. You need is two large lemons, olive oil, shredded parmesan cheese, spaghetti, half a cup of freshly chopped parsley, and half a cup of fresh chopped basil, salt, and pepper as per the taste

Boil the spaghetti in salty water until al dente. While this boils, on the side zest the lemons avoiding the bitter white under the skin in a large mixing bowl. Then juice the lemons adding them to the lemon zest. Add olive oil and shredded parmesan cheese to the bowl and stir to combine. When the pasta is done, before draining it remove about a four-five tablespoon of pasta water. Now add the drained pasta to the mixture in the bowl and combine, slowly add the saved pasta water. Finally, season with salt, plenty of fresh ground black pepper, chopped parsley, and basil, and serve.

Pasta in five herbs This is a whole big blast of herbs in the mouth. Made with easily organic available herbs that one otherwise uses in their daily cooking. With these simple ingredients, it is delicious and healthy. You need is a cup of penne pasta, extra virgin olive oil, one-fourth cup chopped basil and oregano, one cup of cherry tomatoes, one minced garlic clove, one tablespoon chopped fresh chives, thyme, parsley, and crumbled cheese and; salt and ground black pepper as per taste.

Put the pasta to boil. In a skillet add oil, tomatoes, garlic, and sauté for two minutes. To this add chives, thyme, and cook until tomatoes are charred. Take four-five tablespoon of pasta water and add to the tomatoes on the side. Let it simmer for a few more minutes and then add the drained pasta to it. Top it with salt and pepper.  From the top then add basil and oregano, toss well to combine, and serve hot.
