Snacking for kids is something that is extremely important!

It’s true that snack time is any time when it comes to children. Kids tend to prefer something delicious when it comes to snacks. But health is also important. So here are a few easy recipes for healthy snacks for your kids that will provide nutrition and taste.

Frozen fruit stick

Cut down up to three pieces of fresh fruit on a toothpick or popsicle stick and then store them in a freezer. Once it is frozen, take it out and serve it with coconut chips or cashews. It is quite like enjoying a fruit pop! Frozen fruit works really well, just try to let it rest before skewering. By consuming frozen fruit, they will get a variety of vitamins and minerals along with fiber, fat, and protein.

Cheese and tomatoes

You can call them pizza snacks and your child would be ready to be on board!. Pair it with cherry tomatoes and grapes with part-skim string cheese. If you know then you know that string cheese and poppable tomatoes are both favorites of kids. Cheese contains 5-8 grams of protein that helps to keep your kids fueled as well as energized all day. It is quite better than foods with high-carb that spikes blood sugar levels and then crash. Tomatoes deliver taste and along with that vitamins and minerals as well as antioxidants.

Crunchy Chickpeas

Crisp up chickpeas in an air fryer or oven, then sprinkle some favorite sweet spices and savor them. Roasted pulses with chickpeas are very easy to make that have both fiber and protein to make your afternoon healthy. Yogurt

It is one of the great healthy snacks for kids who have good taste buds. If they prefer to have it with a spoon, sip it, or suck down the pouch you can get them to eat it, however. Yogurt provides calcium, protein, and a bit of fat as well. If your kid like to have it sweetened then add your own DIY sweetness like jelly, fresh fruits, or a few chocolate chips. It is always better to add your own sweetness rather than pre-sweetened versions.

Next time, if your little one’s tummy starts to rumble, then offer them these delicious and healthy choices of snacks to stave off cravings.
