Bird Box
This is the tale of a mother facing odds in the form of evil to take her family to a safe zone. The plot of the film follows a mother played by Sandra Bullock, who is braving the most difficult situation. Wherein a mysterious force has taken over the population which if seen directly will destroy you. To save her children the mother in search of hope and a new beginning, embarks on a dangerous journey through the woods with the children in search of that one place that might offer sanctuary. But to make it, they have to move blindfolded.
Otherhood
A beautiful story of three mothers, now in their late years after their kids have settled into their own life, how to deal with the emptiness. The film begins on mother's day when the three mothers don't get anything from their children. The three mothers, and best friends, decide to travel from the suburbs to New York City. They do so in order to reconnect with their adult sons. While this movie will make you cry for the love and affection it shows, it will also be a guiding lesson for mothers too.
The Switch
This 2010 romantic comedy is inspired by the short story Baster by Jeffrey Eugenides. The film starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman narrates the tale of a woman, Kaise, played by Aniston, who is in her late 30s wants to adopt motherhood. While she might not have a boyfriend or a husband to have a child, she decides to take on a sperm donor. However, her friend and secret lover replaces the sperms with his own and the story is a fun ride.
