The land of greens, there is a lot to explore

A region of the Americas comprising the Caribbean Sea, the Caribbean, owing to its location, is a land of tranquil waters, sandy beaches, and tropical climate. The region of the Caribbean is largely situated on the Caribbean Plate, comprising more than 700 islands, islets, reefs, and cays. And these islands come with rich history and tradition that can be enjoyed by travelers. Here is a list of places that one can visit on their travel to the Caribbean.

Turks and Caicos

This is the perfect sport for people roaming around the Caribbean looking for pristine beaches and some tanning. Turks and Caicos is a U-shaped land comprising 40 islands and small cays laced with luxurious resorts. For people looking for some fun adventure sports, there are coral gardens as well as one can for diving and snorkeling in the Turks and Caicos. The perfect spot for that would be Bight Reef, where you get to witness magnificent underwater reefs and fish. For food lovers, the must-try dish is the deep-fried conch clams.

St. Lucia

This tropical paradise is one of the top honeymoon destinations in the Caribbean as it provides calm beaches as well as adventure to its fullest. The two most popular beaches of St. Luca, Anse Des Sables Beach, and Plantation Beach, are where you will find most of the tourists relaxing. As for the adventure junkies, St. Lucia offers activities such as ziplining that goes through the rainforest, and then off-roading. One can also go for diving trips and snorkeling excursions. But mind you, the island has is also a party animal and has great nightlife in Rodney Bay. Also go visit the cove of AnseChastanet, Reduit Beach, and Pidgeon Island National Park.

Antigua and Barbuda

The biggest point of attraction in Antigua is its 365 beaches comprising calm, shallow to deep water. Right swimming to deep water snorkeling, it has something for everyone. While Dickenson Bay is the most popular beach in Antigua, some quiet ones are Hawksbill Bay. For a panoramic view of Antigua, make a hike to the top of Shirley Heights. You also get to see the Montserrat volcano. Take a stroll through St. John's Saturday Market, and shop for souvenirs and spices.
