Simple ways to refresh during your lunch break.

There cannot be a better “Me-Time” than your lunch break.

Is highlight of your lunch break munching a sandwich while going through that all-important presentation? Or worst, you usually forget to take a break for lunch and skip meals? Well, let us tell you that in both scenarios, you are doing nothing but exhausting yourself. And exhaustion can diminish your creative streak and your output at work. So, now keep the work aside and take out thirty minutes from your schedule and take a break to refresh, restart and work more efficiently.

Eat.  

Though it seems obvious it is important that we devote time to the most important chore that is eating. Skipping lunch is no way of being productive, and you cannot concentrate easily. Imagine battling a headache or stomachache in the middle of the day because of skipping meals. Try to eat something healthy, filling and nutritious and avoid sugar overload.

Get away from your desk or leave the office. 

Many would argue that it is a no-brainer that in lunch break, you get away from your desk. But unfortunately, nowadays, employees hardly leave their desks during working hours. This could lead to redundancy and monotony. Getting out of your desk or office can give you a change in scenery and refresh you instantly. It can also increase creative thinking, making you a better worker.

Mediate.

Meditation is a known remedy to refresh and rejuvenate oneself. So, if you are experiencing burnout in your workplace, just take ten or fifteen out of time and find a quiet and secluded spot and meditate. Meditation would help you assemble your thought and clear your mind. Studies suggest that regular meditation can up your energy levels, improve your memory and makes you happier.

Workout.

We often complaint of having no-time for our physical fitness in a working day. So, we present you the best time for you to work out and exercise, yes, you guessed it right! Lunchtime. You might argue that exercising during the day can tire you, but it is the best way to fend of the negative energy and emotion. Exercising can refresh and recharge you in an instant.

Take a nap. 

If you are not meditating and exercising kind of person,then the next best thing to relax would be taking a nap. Great minds like Churchill, Edison loved their afternoon siestas. Just take advantage of a break and take a power nap to feel refresh and recharge.
