K-pop is one of the most popular music genres that has dominated music industries all across the world. It is not limited to Korea but music lovers all across the world, whether they are familiar with Korean or not, enjoy it equally. It truly has transcended the boundaries of race, country and, most importantly, language. Because of this, many western artists are collaborating more and more with K-pop legends. Here are some of the iconic K-pop collabs with western artists.

Blackpink with Selena Gomez

Though Blackpink has collaborated with other western artists such as Dua Lipa and Lady Gaga in the past, but their collab with Selena Gomez is stuff the dreams are made of. It is fun; it is flirtatious and sugar sweet, all the marking of a blockbuster. Well, we don’t expect anything less from Selena Gomez and our champion girls Blackpink. We, Blinks, are waiting for a stage performance of this iconic collab with both Blackpink and Selena Gomez.

Red Velvet’s Wendy with John Legend

The heavenly vocals of Wendy and John Legend are surely the stuff that is “Written in the stars”, which also happens to be the title of their legendary collab. The love ballad about the lovestruck lovers is enchanting and refreshing. The music video of this song is also promising and legendary.

Wonder Girls with Akon

Long before, when K-pop was not dominating the world music charts, Wonder Girls collab with Akon was pretty epic. The song is fun and refreshing, considering it came out in 2012. This peppy dance number will get you swaying your body, and the best part; you can even croon alongside as the song is in English.

Super Junior and Leslie Grace

The iconic K-pop band Super Junior’s collab with Dominican-American singer Leslie Grace is what we should be hyping. This amazing trilingual dance number, “Lo Siento”, would get you rocking the dance floor. The song has Latin pop’s tropical vibe, a chart-topper for sure.
