The very first book of the series, Harry Potter and the philosopher’s Stone was an introduction to the world of spells and charms by JK Rowling. Ever since then, we all tried holding a stick, assuming it to be a wand and flick it to see if the spell works. Here is the list of few spells we wished to use for real.
Spell: Alohomora
There have been times when we forget to carry our house keys and have to wait for someone else to come and unlock the door. But using the Alohomora spell, we could simple lock or unlock any object at a flick of a wand.
Spell: Apparition
Who does not like to travel in the blink of an eye? We all wish to reach our destination on time, but we do not wish to compromise our sleep. Apparition is the spell which allows travelling instantly to our desired place, and also it is cheap.
Spell: Capacious Extremis
This spell expands the inner capacity of an object without resizing its external dimensions. Capacious Extremis could be used while packing and when no extra luggage is appreciated or maybe use while camping, just like in the movie when they go to the Quidditch World Cup (Refer: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).
Spell: Oculus Reparo
The spell which repairs anything broken reminds me of the fact that I am holding my phone with a broken screen and that fixing it would have been easier with the Reparo spell.
Spell: Evanesco
Do you remember the time, we used to get poor marks in the class test and hiding those test papers was tough? Evanesco is the spell that is used to vanish the object in no time.
Spell: Episky
Episky charm could be used to heal minor injuries at a flick of a wand. This spell is especially for those who easily get hurt but are afraid to go to the doctor.
Spell: Obliviate
The obliviate charm is used to erase a particular part of someone’s memory. If we could use this spell as real, then we could simply erase a part of our boss’ memory where he tells us to work on holidays.
Spell: Wingardium Leviosa
This was the first spell that was taught to the students at Hogwarts. Wingardium Leviosa makes an object fly or levitates, making it easier to carry heavy loads from one place to another.
The spells are not only the thing that we wish was real but the list includes the luck potion, the invisible cloak, the Marauder’s map and most importantly a ticket to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
