Healthy tech habits for a better lifestyle.

Technology has become a part of our daily schedule that impacted our lifestyle. 

Our love for technology is growing with time, and it leads to an increase in screen time and gadget use. As per the statistical reports, smartphone addictions, screentime, and online surfing are increasing every year that is eventually causing damage to our physical and emotional health. Therefore, there is a need to introduce moderation to technology consumption to avoid continuous vibrations and settle for a better lifestyle.

Here is the list of healthy tech habits to adopt today.

 Change the morning routine from checking emails and messages to spending tech-free time. We can start our day by refraining from reaching out for our phones. There are tons of things that can be a part of our tech-free morning routine- a walk in the garden, exercise in the fresh air, read a newspaper or any favourite author, or enjoy the morning dews with a cup of coffee.

 Multitasking might go wrong, so focus on one task at a time.  We often think that multitasking is the only way to be ultra-productive, but this is not the case. When we try to focus on multiple tasks, at the same time, our focus gets segmented, and as a result, we end up messing it up. As suggested by psychologists, efficient multitasking is possible only when one of the tasks is almost automatic and engages different areas of the brain.

 Maintain the correct posture to avoid hunched back and strain in the eye. We spend most of our days bending our necks to look at our phones or hunching over to use the laptop, but it is causing physical damage to us. We should keep our screens at a distance to avoid the light rays affecting our eyes and to avoid pressure on our back and neck sprain we can use a laptop stand to level it up to our eyes.

 Adopt digital detoxification, at least for a day or week. We need to make up our minds on digital detoxification. The steps towards it are not difficult at all; all we need to do is take a break from social media platforms, leave our gadgets home and go out to meet a person or two. It might be hard to think to spend an entire day without the internet and devices, but it will help us heal our emotional and physical health.
