The joy and fun of comics are unmatched, as it takes you to a world different from the one you exist in. Right from the characterization setting of the story to the adventures they take, comic books are a beautiful world for one to get lost in. On top of that, if you read through the conversation bubbles speaking science language, filled with aliens transporting from one planet to another, fighting powerful villain aliens, all chasing after science magic, the read is thrilling. Here is presenting a list of some famous science fiction comics.

The Incal By Alejandro Jodorowsky and Moebius

It is a French graphic novel series written by filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky paints a picture of a fictional universe comprising an epic space opera. It blends intergalactic voyage, science, technology, political intrigues, conspiracies, messianism, mysticism, poetry, debauchery, love stories, and satire. The Incal is considered to be a storytelling masterpiece as it is set in the dystopian capital city of an insignificant planet in a human-dominated galactic empire. The alien Bergs resemble featherless birds and live in the neighbouring galaxy, forming another power bloc.

The East of West by John Hickman and Nick Dragotta

Created by writer Jonathan Hickman and artist Nick Dragotta, this science fiction Western is a dystopian version of the United States whose fate rests with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. East of West is set in the dystopian 2064 United States, and the series explores an alternate timeline. An action-packed sci-fi adventure brings to readers a fascinating America that has broken into seven different nations, namely Armistice, The Union, The Confederacy, the Kingdom, the Endless Nation, the Republic of Texas, and the PRA of Mao.

WE3 By Grant Morrison And Frank Quitely

A three-issue American comic book mini-series, this kinetic style writing is described by the author as Western Manga. The name of the comics We3 is a squad of three prototypes - animal weapons – who are part of a government project headed by Dr Rosanne Berry and her superior, Doctor Trendle. It comprises a dog, Bandit a.k.a. 1; a cat, Tinker a.k.a. 2; and a rabbit, Pirate a.k.a. 3, - all kidnapped from a nearby city and encased in robotic armour.
